Dario Bayardo (he/him) is the Director for the Goldman Center for Student Accessibility in the Division for Student Affairs where he leads the team in its mission of ensuring that the campus community knows that great minds think differently. He holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and brings more than a decade of combined experience in special education and disability services to Tulane. He earned a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Loyola University New Orleans and is a Board Approved PLPC in the State of Louisiana. Originally from Southern California, Dario enjoys staying active by running, hiking, and biking. While he enjoys the amazing cuisine that New Orleans has to offer, he is still a die-hard fan of SoCal style and Mexican food.
Angela James, MA

Angela James (she/her) is the Assistant Director for the Goldman Center. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved LPC-Supervisor for the State of Louisiana. Angela has gained experience working in several areas of Student Affairs including Disability Services, Student Engagement, and University Counseling Services. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a master’s degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis on Student Affairs. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Counselor Education & Supervision from the University of New Orleans. Her professional work has included writing, teaching, and presenting on a myriad of topics related to accessibility, counseling, leadership development, and diversity & inclusion.
A lifelong Southeast Louisiana native, Angela loves all things New Orleans including the food, festivals, and football, which is twice the fun with family and friends. Don’t be surprised to find Angela roaming around the city with a camera, book, or journal in tow.
Sarah Moore, MA
Learning Specialist

Sarah Moore (she/her) is the Learning Specialist with a background in assistive technology and learning tools. A local of the River Parishes, Sarah attended Hendrix College in Arkansas where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology ('17) before earning her master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling ('20) from Rollins College in Florida. Sarah gained experience working with college students at Rollins College through accessibility services (assistive technology and testing accommodations) and through college counseling services (therapy and counseling for traditional and nontraditional students alike). In her spare time, Sarah enjoys keeping up with the Formula 1 racing world and unironically enjoying the cinematic experience that is the Star Wars prequels.
Apryl Jones

Apryl Jones (she/her) is the Administrative Assistant for the Goldman Center and often the first person students and families encounter in our office. Apryl prides herself on delivering great customer service and administrative skills to students, staff, faculty, parents, and beyond. Apryl received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Tuskegee University in Alabama but finds her passions to be more aligned with customer service, hospitality, and generally helping others. A California native who was transplanted to the “Big Easy” as a teenager, Apryl can be found cooking ‘Nawlins’ soul food, listening to smooth tunes, or just spending time with family. Evan Keller, MA

Evan Keller (he/him) is an Assistant Director for the Goldman Center for Student Accessibility, and is primarily responsible for managing the Testing Center. He is originally from Cincinnati and moved to New Orleans in 2016. Evan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and a Master of Arts in Italian, both from The Ohio State University. He has several years of experience teaching college courses in Italian, and has held a number of other positions at universities and in other industries.
When not serving students, Evan enjoys reading, baking, traveling, zazen, binging on Netflix, and spending time with his family.
Jo Ellen Reyes

Jo Ellen Reyes (she/her) is an Access Coordinator for the Goldman Center for Student Accessibility, primarily working in the Testing Center. Jo Ellen joined the Tulane University community in February 2008 to provide administrative support to the Goldman Center. Previously, she was a ward clerk at Tulane University Hospital. When not serving students, Jo Ellen can be found spending her time with her family and friends.
Emily Meyers

Emily Meyers (she/her) is an Access Coordinator for the Goldman Center for Student Accessibility, primarily working in the Testing Center. Emily studied English, Journalism, and French at the University of Mississippi, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. She previously worked in the title industry as well as the non-profit sector. In her spare time Emily enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time outside (when Louisiana weather permits it).
Andrea Vassar, M.Ed., ADAC
Executive Director for Campus Accessibility and ADA/504 Coordinator

Andrea is a certified ADA Coordinator through the University of Missouri and has a depth of knowledge to ensure compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), and other federal and state laws. Andrea has expertise in employment accommodations, campus and digital accessibility, disability advocacy, and support for post-secondary students with disabilities, along with experience in K-12 special education. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a master’s degree in Exceptionality (special education) from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, and an advanced graduate certificate in Instructional Technology from Nova Southeastern University.
When not working to further equity and inclusion for the disabled community, Andrea enjoys swimming, cycling, live music, great food, and the creative pursuit of watercolor painting.
